I own an Onkyo surround sound model HT-S580. I own the wired speakers with the wires secret in the wall surrounding my chief room. I want to add more speakers around my pool table.....which is surrounded by my basement, around the corner from the tv.....it would be nice to know how to listen to a game lacking being competent to see the tv while playing pool. My basement is wood flooring, not hearth rug, so I dont want to run wires for these extra speakers across the whole damn room on the floor. What I involve to know is if this Onkyo model is compatible with wireless speakers. I would approaching to add wireless speakers to the surround nouns receiver and put them around the table. If anyone could please share me If I can do this with this model, and more importantly how, I would really appreciate it.

Wireless will work beside 99.9% of systems.
Instructions included with what ever system you wish to buy will explain it all
you can hook up wireless speakers to it. however nearby is a splitter out there... that you may want to look into and run the wires that opening, I'm sure if you give it satisfactory thought you can keep the wires secret.
If you do go wireless it's a matte of hooking up the transmitter to the speaker output, afterwards setting up the speakers. Again, not knowing the layout of where your pool table is contained by respect to your receiver, I can't distribute you a hard and hasty answer on how well the signal will be received.
With adjectives that said, I'd be more inclined if I were to do this next to my system, I'd look into the speaker output splitter, I'm sure you can find them at Best Buy. I have see them in times gone by, but never needed to use them.
