Please explain viera intermingle HDMI inputs and whether you have need of to buy different dvd/video players beside clean plasma?
Answers: You can definetely plug contained by an older dvd player into an hdtv using hdmi cable. Something however will be limiting you. If your tv have a higher resolution fitness than your dvd player, then you will be set to what your dvd player puts out. .if your dvd player says progressive scan on it for example, you will most expected get 480 lines (progressive). You can obtain this with component cable or with hdmi. If you own an upconverting dvd player like i do. You will enjoy to use the hdmi cable in directive to get 1080 lines of resolution (interlaced) that the dvd player puts our. Lastly if you achieve or have an hd dvd or blue gleam dvd player, You will also have to use an hdmi cable to procure the 1080 (progressive lines) of resolution. (excellent picture quality). My tv and wall projector put out a max of 1080i, so thats why I bought the upconverting dvd player cus I would waste my money on an hd dvd or blue sunbeam dvd player since my tvs didnt put out 1080p. So find out what your tv has the experience first. (oh yeah 720p also requires hdmi cables) Hope I helped.
