Will existing Bose Wave Radios become useless due to digital nouns, much similar to elder tube sets?

TV transmission is transitioning from analog to digital, will this be the travel case for standard radio's? If so, are we going to be stuck with a prize today, but unwanted items tommorow with our radio?

Answers:    Radio is using far smaller amount bandwidth than TV, so it is not such a big issue.
There is already "HD FM Radio",(or digital radio), but works on top of existing analog radio.
