Need a surround sound/ Home drama system?

I looked on sites like Best Buy and circuit city, but that adjectives include dvd players or 5 disc changers. I don't need this, I wan't something close to a 5.1 or 7.1 system with a heir that I can hook up my DVD player, TV, and game consoles too. HDMI ports will be needed contained by the receiver as in good health. (That transmit adio and video) Someone please HELP!I want something good and reliable and not some no-name company.

EDIT.....Here is a list of Receivers near HDMI and 1080P at various prices.They are adjectives very fitting in their price reach. (The Cambridge and the Arcam probably have the best nouns quality of adjectives the Receivers.)
