How do I experiment 7.1 surround nouns ? Which song/music would endow with me output to respectively ditch so that I can experiment it
Answers: Audio and video discs encoded with discrete 7.1-channel surround nouns audio remain scarce. (I’m currently not aware any 7.1-channel music DVDs other than non-commercial demo discs.)
Below is a account of high-definition DVD movies with above-average-to-demonstration characteristic, 7.1-channel soundtracks. There are additional high-definition DVD movies encoded next to a 7.1-channel soundtrack however they fall short of the combined surround nouns performance and/or audio power of the titles listed below and and so I’ve chosen to omit them from the enumerate.
The movie titles are listed within the approximate order of audio and surround nouns performance. You may want to purloin other factors into consideration, such as video element (some of the titles listed below are no better than average,) movie content, etc.; I’ve simply timetabled movie titles (as of 2008-01-20) with quotation or near-reference quality 7.1-channel soundtracks.

Note: as GH correctly stated, if you do not currently hold a high-definition disc player you may still be able to generate 7.1 channel of surround sound if your A/V beneficiary or ‘pre-pro’ is equipped with Dolby(R) Pro Logic(R) IIx technology. Dolby(R) Pro Logic(R) IIx will synthesize 7.1 channel of surround sound from adjectives content containing 2 to 7 channels of audio.

I would recommend a setup disc/guide prior, a bit that trying to adjust by ear.There are several good exam DVDs that can be purchased, AVIA Home Theater Setup DVD is one, Sound and Vision has another. These tender a total home theater set up procedure for audio and video.
Try the Eagles DVD "When Hell Freezes Over";
Use the 7 Bridges Road track.
Many DVDs have THX conducting tests on it (if you have any Star Wars DVDs, they hold them).
They have audio test for speakers.
Also, check the stereo/receiver manual... copious times the unit (or the remote) have a "tone test" button which will play white noise over every pipe so you can check each speaker.
Cheaper than buying a full fledged audio/video DVD.
Any next to a good ammount of ambience or conditions effects would be good to oral exam 5.1/7.1 speakers. Any song that while listening within 2 channel stereo you thought a lot of left/right stereo effects will present you some sound on adjectives your speakers providing your receiver have a Pro Logic IIx music setting.
