Do Dvi-HDMI adapters convert the HDCP too?

I have a device that have a dvi out port with hdcp but my tv with the sole purpose has an hdmi port next to hdcp. Will a dvi to hdmi adapter work with hdcp?


Answers:    Usually HDCP is done on the display and the source (computer, dvd player etc.) not the cable or adapters.
