My subwoofer started making gurgling nouns when turned on lacking human being connected to an amp what's the problem

Answers:    May i know what type of sub-woofer you are using?

If you are using passive sub-woofer, (passive sub-woofer do not own on-off switch) how come You need to turned on the sub-woofer? obedient sub-woofer don't give out nouns if it's not connected to the amp. because it's only nick power from the amp

If you are using active sub-woofer, you don't inevitability to connect it to an amp as it's have build surrounded by amp.

if you are using active sub-woofer, it enjoy noise when you switch it on, it might be the volume height too loud, or the build-in amp is faulty..
be your bass+volume up really loud? you might have blown it.
