No, it because the speaker is 4ohm-500 watts, but the amp per channel is 4ohm-900watts. the amp power is over size, almost double of what the speaker requirement. If didn't take guardianship, as time passes, it might defacement the speaker.

Can, As long as you take trouble. When push the volume to a level that the speaker contribute out distortion sound, own to pull it spinal column. And you also can take precaution approaching setting the gain of the amplifier, just partly will do, not full.

My work place using crown amps too, amp per channel is 8ohm-600watts, and we be always using it for 8ohm-300watts speaker.. so plentiful years, so far so good.

As long as you lift care of the system, dun permit it over drive the speaker. Again, its a good system!!
