What are some of the ways i can hook the audio output of notebook to my Kenwood Home Theater System?

There is not a fiber optic output on pc, purely speaker out.

Answers:    I doubt you have a speaker out on your PC unless it's a cheap PC that come with cheap non-powered speakers. You should own an 1/8" stereo Line Out Jack (typically green in color) that you can plug surrounded by a 1/8" stereo plug to Stereo RCA cable that you can connect to say your TAPE or disc input on your Kenwood. If the distance is not feasible to run a cable approaching this, you may want to consider a WiFi Music Bridge to stream the audio over your WiFi network to your stereo.
y adapter headphone jack to rca
coonect the headphone close to prong to the green speaker input out put on the back of your notebook and the y adapter will split into rcas and connect theat to your rca input
