Big eyeshade tv component next to addressee hookups?

i have a 46 inch HDTV, it have a few component jacks in the stern. i have my ps3 and xbox 360 hooked into those. im using optical cable to run the audio from my ps3 to play through my surround nouns. now on my 360, i have it hooked up onto the front of my receiver, but the jack stopped working a few days ago so i settled to just hook up the component cable. now how would i progress about getting my 360 to play thru the surround nouns speakers? would s-video cables do the assignment because im not sure the 360 has a s-video jack on the actual system itself.

Answers:    SVideo and Component one and only carry the video signals. And you DONT want to use SVideo because that would be standard def video, not HD.

You entail to run optical from the Xbox to a different optical input on your receiver. Or buy a optical switch so you can toggle between the PS3 and XBox.

There is a power-driven toslink switch at Monoprice for about $7
