Thank you for your time as I have no brochure. Its a kenwood av surround VR357. Thank you

Answers:    If your receiver have an optical input, use that instead of the red and white cables. (The solely cable you will connect is the yellow cable, and that can stir directly to your TV). This will give you true digital surround nouns. If you don't know what that is, it looks resembling a square plug on the back of your PS2. The other completion is the exact same plug which would connect to your receiver.

If you do hook it up this passageway, make sure you stir into your PS2 settings and enable the optical out odds.
well the red and wht organize would go within the surround sound

i found
has your vr357 in attendance
this should help
You will entail to plug the red, white, and yellow into a single input on your Kenwood. i.e. "video 1" input
Then, you will involve to take another single patch cord and connect the sickly "monitor out" on your Kenwood to a video input on your TV. It won't give you true surround, but it might furnish you Pro Logic surround.
If you want digital surround, and you Kenwood is capable, you will entail to get an adapter. Monster probably make an adaptor that will allow you to connect a digital optical cable to your Kenwood. I'm not sure, but your PS2 may have a digital out built into it. Sometimes call an optical or toslink output.
First you should know what each nouns is for...

RED - normally used for the RIGHT AUDIO CHANNEL

WHITE - generally used for the LEFT AUDIO CHANNEL

YELLOW - used for the VIDEO IN/OUT

You can connect the PS2's output to the receiver's input

then contained by turn connect the receiver's output to the input on

the television.
If you want digital surround, and you Kenwood is skilled, you will need to win an adapter. Monster probably makes an adaptor that will allow you to connect a digital optical cable to your Kenwood.
