Should I take current speakers for my current A/V addressee?
Answers: you could. best bet is to audition new speakers near your set up. try a more sensitive speaker like klipsch to achieve better spl for the same amp power.
Nope the speakers sounds right as you said. Speakers are largely ok as long as you are not under driving them. Well later again if you want to upgrade your speakers you may do that as well. I of late don't see any reason to translate your speaker right now. You won't be capable of see a big difference anyways if you change your speakers. Stick next to what you have and savour them until the woofers are blown out.
I just get a new addressee but kept my 10 year old JBL speakers. I'm getting much better nouns out of them. Are you using optic or HDMI cables? They spawn a difference as well.

You said sony right? yes, change them, revise them, change them. Sony allows for channel too much overhead. When they advertise an av reciever and speaker to hold 120 watts, this is thier peak while thier program or rms handling is closer to 40-50 watts. Yamaha have great sound reproduction when it comes to thier recievers. You want speakers that will do it equality. One of the guys recommended klipsch, I am a huge klipsch fan. try a few different brands out. you wont regret it. The with the sole purpose people that said they kept thier antiquated speakers had well brought-up branded speakers like jbl which are most imagined bigger speakers and while jbl is not known for thier clenest nouns, they pack a punch and can get loud. You will other wonder how good your system COULD nouns if you dont.
Well I guess you will have to determine if your Yamaha
heir makes your current speakers nouns better or
worse or just give or take a few the same as your dated Sony receiver.
If your speakers nouns the same or better w/your topical
receiver, but only just can't keep up near the extra power,
then probably a loudspeaker upgrade is appropriate.
Or if you just want to take a new rank of performance
very soon that you have a investigational receiver. I can be a bit more
informative to you if I know what your current loudspeakers
are, but since I don't know, I can suggest a couple of
good importance choices from my experience...
I imagine you will want 5 speakers and a powered
subwoofer? If so, a biddable line to consider is from
Hsu Research. They hold a couple choices in
loudspeakers, and frequent high conduct subs
to compliment their fronts, centers, and surrounds.
If you just want two front stereo speakers for very soon
with the odds to include a complete surround
sound system in a minute or in the adjectives (I would still
go beside Hsu Research if you want a powered
sub), the mid-fi level Athena or the high-value,
high-end Silverline brands are my suggestions.
Any of these brands surely will endow with you an
improved show over what you have
next to your new heir. I am impressed
with these lines, and I would not recommend
any of them if they did not stand out within sound
trait over similarly priced speaker systems.
Hi. Only you can make that choice.What is the brand nickname of the speakers you have.? It is other better to have more amplifier power than what the speakers can use.That passageway they will not be damaged by an amplifier clipping when running out of power.If you want a different nouns with your bright amplifier then by adjectives means listen to some of the ones you deem you may like keeping contained by mind the wattage of your new amplifier.
EDIT......The Receiver specifications for power output only just says 85 watts contained by surround mode.It does not mention if the rating is RMS or Continuous.or something else. This is very strange, not giving how the watts are rate. I checked a few links but no luck. Do you know what rating they use ?
