Polk audio or infinity?
Answers: I individually have Polks but it'd be wrong for me to try and detail you what speakers would be best for you. To know you really have to run and listen. A-B the speakers and buy what seem to nouns best for the type of listening you'd close to to do and for your ears. Sometimes brand names and dollars don't other mean the best speakers!
I am a Polk Audio enthusiast as ably as Infinity- my HT consists of both. The thing I did not resembling about the Polk sub is the certainty that the speaker is not replaceable should you ever blow it or want to upgrade it it. It has a huge rolled rubber surround to be precise part of the sub- no screw to replace it. The Infinity was nice too- but didn't submission the output I was looking for. I go with the JBL Studio Series, a 12" 650 watt sub I picked up modern on E-bay for $650 ( slightly more $$ than both Polk and Infinity ). I also looked at HSU research and SVS- which are just slightly a short time more but are known for their sub engineering. I would stick near JBL, HSU, or SVS. Happy thumping!
I have to influence Infinity. I know they offer support for most save all their products, I'm not so sure if Polk does. Nonetheless I reflect Infinity carries a better nouns over all.
from my personal nouns the infinity
TO answer your your question, I close to infinity audio better. butt have you considered Velodyne or Klipsch. Both can gain you a whole lot of boom for give or take a few the same money. Check out Klipsch at bestbuy.com but buy them elsewhere if you can.
Comparing these two subs head-to-head, the
Infinity have the better specs. Infinity is known
for their usefulness and bass quality, whereas
Polk is certain for making some pretty decent
loudspeakers, their subs are solitary decent from
my experience. Out of these two choices, I'd
intuitively rather live beside the Infinity PS212.
