Bose lifestyle 48 system?

I have brought my Bose system to the UK after living surrounded by the USA for 2 years.
It need to be changed to UK frequency and voltage and although Bose right to be heard they can do it, they wont as we don't have the bill anymore (they say they call for it as proof of purchase......duh). Anyone have any suggestions as to where on earth I can get it done surrounded by the UK?

Answers:    I agree with flapjack. It's not worth the cost to do any type of repair work to a Bose system. Bose is an OK preference for a "quick fix" home theater setup, but you can do alot better for the money, especially if you're paying as much as the Lifestyle 48 system costs.
Bose at the factory is the individual place to do this. They won't allow anyone else to do such. Recommendation sell the Bose on e-bay since they will charge you a arm and a leg, and grasp a new discrete system. Kef , Klipsch, B&W are adjectives good speakers and bring back a Onkyo or Denon for a receiver.

P.S. I am not a supporter of Bose systems for sound part and for similar reasons of proprietary support I will not recommend them.
i though you merely need a wide-ranging converter (3 pin Plug) to convert your voltage? universal converter cannot execute frequency and voltage change?
