I hold bought a component cable, but I enjoy no volume?

I just bought a Component cable, the red, blue, and green one for my satellite. But when i connected it, near was no audio. Why is that?

Answers:    Because your component cable is for video individual, does not carry any audio signals.
Need to connect to a digital(optical or coaxial) or freshly good frail RCA will do.
Did you connect Audio cables as all right? The three component wires are all unswerving to video, you will need audio cable too.
Guy beforeme is right. Component is only a video nouns. You will need a set of analog audios or a digital audio cable( just if your sat addressee is Dolby Digital most are optical).
Component Cables are only for Video. Look at the rear the satellite receiver and you'll see an Audio out (Red & White) RCA outputs. Connect an RCA Cable from at hand to your TV. (Only for Stereo Sound)

If you have a Receiver. Find out what generous of digital output it has (Coaxial or Optical) and using the appropriate cable connect to the corresponding input on your Receiver.
(This will administer you Dolby Digital Sound - which all HD Channels are setup to transmit)
