Can I cut one wrapping up rotten rca cable to connect my tv to external speakers?

The tv has rca audio outputs and the speakers adopt a bare chain.

Answers:    Normally, if the leads own rca plugs, they are designed to go to an amp, not to a speaker. Look within your manual to see if that's the casing with your tv. Look on the wager on above where they come out of the tv if you don't own the manual and see if it say line out, or speaker out. If it say speaker out, yeah, you can cut the lines and use the bare wires to your speakers. If it say line out, next leave the rca audio plugs on, and connect them to an amp.
i would recommend not doing that
Yes You Can!

You won't take much sound out of them, unless the speakers are amplified. But it will work...
You necessitate some form of amplification for those speakers, ie a receiver. If try this you could (a) blow up your speakers (b) prejudice the TV (c) all the above.
