How Can I hook up ps3,hddvr,hdtv to Home Theater to own adjectives on surrond nouns is that possible?
Answers: If your TV own 2 HDMI inputs, hook your PS3 and cable box up with the TV by using HDMI cable , If not use a splitter as the previous poster suggests. To get surround sounds, use an optical digital audio cable to connect the TV's optic digital audio output to the receiver's optic digital audio input and switch your heir to AUX.
Be careful when you remove the TV digital output's cover. It may look different beside the cover of your receiver's digital input. Instead of simply pull the cover rotten like you do next to your receiver's digital input, you may have to use a small flat screwdriver to break the plastic cover of the TV digital output.
Do not puncture too reflective into the hole since you may damage its optic fiber.
PS. HDMI cable transmit both HD signal and digital audio signal to your TV and from it you get the digital audio signals ( surround nouns or Dolby 5.1....) transferred to your receiver.

It can be done, I'm not sure how to explain it. We hold 2 HDMI cables and have to buy a HDMI hub with an A-B switch, which cost roughly $80. before that we have to switch the cable every time we went to use PS3.
buy a apposite reciver, with HDMI switching
I a moment ago saw a Yamaha rec. for like 349 that have 2 HDMI in and 1 out, and few optical contained by and out, it should work great for you
