Hi, my BOSE lifestyle system is working but EVERY DVD is only playing surrounded by black and white. Its played in color prior and I hold tried the connections to see if its loose. I know this might be tough as you cant see the hook up. Its all component cable (no HDMI) and a regular ashen video cord from the Bose to the TV. Sateleite and Xbox all are contained by color so I know its not the TV. Its the Bose, for sure. Its palys the DVD, audio is great, picture is fine ..just adjectives in Black and white. Anyone else out in that experience this problem?
Answers: You are probably plugged into the DVD Pr/Cr output instead of the composite video. The connector will fit.
This will cause the video to be B&W. Just move the DVD RCA jack to Video, or Composite.
Get a flashlight, and double check.
For RCA jacks, connecting to the wrong output will not do any damage, so you can fish around till it works.
May the force be next to you. . . .
