Is Insignia(R) - 37" 720p Flat-Panel LCD HDTV apt? I bought it and i want to know if i should return it?
Answers: There are many better LCD manufacturer out there but resolution isn't the issue. While near are a few 1080P 37" TVs available I question whether you could see the difference on a eyeshade that small. The difference between 1080P and 720P is much easier to see on a larger screen even if you are rather close.
No the real difference is overall picture competence and durability. Resolution is just 1 facet of picture element. It is the easiest to quantify so companies lead near it but it is possible to have a better looking TV near a lower resolution, just ask a professional photographer roughly speaking digital camera resolution. You also need color correctness, good true contrast, color contrast, far-reaching greyscale, accurate noise markdown, enough inputs for adjectives components etc....
One feature you never hear more or less is discreet control. This allows you to easily program a international remote to control all of your devices short them getting out of sync.(the tv turns on when the cable box turns off) Top tier brands have discreets and third tier(house brands and disposable tvs similar to Vizeo or Olevia) almost never do.

Insignia is specifically a Best Buy signature. Insiginia stuff is generally much cheaper than the autograph brands but not as good.
