How do I connect a home theater system to work next to my TV? Ie- cable/satellite?

I purchased a home theater system and it works with the dvd player that it come with but how do i hook it up to work near the actual tv, during regular television watching??? the lone open spots on the dvd player are the coaxial, the ginger , blue and red...and the s-video???
help me please!!!


Answers:    There should be 2 audio output jacks on the spinal column of your Satelite box.
Connect these to spare input jacks on the back of your reciever.
Select the corresponding input (aux/ tape/vcr) on your reciever.
Thats it.
