Do they cause a hdmi to s-video converter?

Answers:    Not that I can find, and it probably doesn't exist.

You can go S-video to HDMI, but not the other channel round.

The reason is because of HDCP ... surrounded by turn in place due to copyright owner fears of piracy of HD video things. Which is kind of dumb since S-video or composite wouldn't be HD. (See the link).

However, any converter would enjoy to take a digital signal and convert to analog ... which would be expensive even if available.

Can you use composite (yellow RCA)?

Or can you use component?
I don't deem so.
