I have the asus striker extreme motherboard and the audio output is 7.1 and categorically amazing. I need a clothed set of speakers to notice it. My budget is particularly flexible but obviously the cheaper the better.

Well, my point of vision built in nouns card is nt really my type as they don't deliver much as compared to a proper dedicated one!
I recommend to buy 5.1 Creative or Logitech or Altec lansing
