I have be having problems next to my cable modem connecting lately I tried unpluging my modems power for 30 seconds to reset it.and it works sometimes .Lately I tried jiggle the coax ends and that seems likeThat may be my problem .I am wondering if using High Deffinition Gold plated winding up Cables would be worth investing in.

The gold ingots plating is just a marketing BS. Nickel plated connectors would work as economically. You are not getting any significant performance difference if you bought the gold ingots plated connectors. Besides the plating is probably just to cover the connectors-it might gash off confidently if you know what i mean...
