Torpedo Digital Projector?
If you've used one, or know someone who have, would you recommend it?
Its on my budget [$160], so its obviously a great buy, but I'm curious as to reviews. I've read some on the internet, and it get evenly matched good and discouraging reviews.
Answers: Walmart has it for 119. as a toy. Looks similar to it uses flash light bulbs to project the picture so room will hold to be pitch black. Also picture quality will be incredibly low.
But it could be fun to play around with. Just don't expect "theater type" results by any ability.
I just bought it from walmart for my sister. It hasn't arrived on the other hand, but for $83 shipped, it's worth it even if it's no good. Return policy help tons if it's not what I expect.

MY ADVICE ONE WHETHER OR NOT TO BUY IT FOR OUR BOYFRIEND:
If he's gunna get one anyway, agree to him get his own big end one. Not lone is he ready to fork out the lolly, he'll probably be picky out it and if you get him this cheapo one, he might ultimately attain his own and your gift would be stuck surrounded by the closet.
If he's NOT gunna buy one, but just like the idea of it, you'll surprise him beside this gift which he'll unambiguously like. Even if it sucks, it's better to own it than NOT have it. And for Walmarts public sale of $83 shipped, it might be worth it. You can test it formerly you give it to him. Just buy it soon back they run out. You can return it at the store.
