I enjoy a LG Flatron and a PS3, which proper cable do i entail to take home it HD-ready?

i have a LG Flatron Wide 22" Monitor TV

http://www.slipperybrick.com/2007/06/lg-...

i also hold a PS3

the LG says it's HD in place but there is no input for a HDMI cable, i notice the graphics are horrible when using the AV (S-Video cable) ..someone mentioned getting the proper cables to get hold of the graphics looking a lot better.

what do i have need of to do? the PS3 has an HDMI output, but this LG Flatron doesn't hold an HDMI input.

this is what it has within the back of the monitor/tv ::

TV - Antenna Cable
AV - S-Video Cable, RCA Cable
Component - Component Cable
RGB - D-Sub Analog Signal Cable
DVI - DVI-D Digital Signal Cable

please help out.

Answers:    Your best bet is to use an HDMI cable out of your PS3, then connect an HDMI-to-DVI adapter to the HDMI cable to connect it to your monitor. That method, you will get the full 1080 giant defnition uncompressed signal going to your monitor.

If you use component cables (as the first poster suggested as an option), the signal coming out of the PS3 will be compressed and will be downconverted to 720 lines (as defiant the full 1080 lines that the PS3 supports). This means that although the picture will still be well brought-up (technically 720 is still HD), it just won't be as biddable as the HDMI to DVI option.
There are two possibilities you can do.

1) Use the component cable chance. Purchase a PS3 component cable (you can search for it anywhere, Yahoo shopping, amazon, etc.).

2) Use the DVI leeway. For that you would need an HDMI to DVI cable. I've see them out there, but it seem like Monoprice is the website that sell them the cheapest.
You'll want to use the component cable kit for the PS3, available whereever Playstation appurtenances are sold. It shouldn't cost you more than $25 or so. The Sony brand kit is a short time ago fine. Don't waste your money on the Monster brand cable. They cost 5 times as much, while providing no additional point.

Be sure to configure your PS3 to use the same resolution that your TV supports. For instance, if your TV can do 1080i, configure the PS3 to that.
