If I put within a 165" 16:9 screen, what is the best significance projector on the market TODAY?
Also what nouns and video system is the best value and WHY today?

Answers:    If you hold a dedicated home theater room and can control the ambient feathery, front projection is definitely the process to go. I've have a projector in my living room for 2 1/2 years and I'm glad I go that route.

The pros are: the picture is AWESOMELY HUGE and gives you the notion of being within the scene like zilch else. I'm projecting to 96" diagonal measure from 11 foot away -- and it cost me about $2k. It's a Sanyo Z2 (720p), which is the best they have back later for a reasonable price, but the picture is still fabulous.

You will probably want to buy both DVD/Blu Ray and a digital TV or digital cable/sat to run signals to your projector. In any covering, the best thing for the nouns is to run all nouns sources to a reciever/amp and play everything through the best speakers you can afford.

There are dozens of good buys out near, with different features you may or may not want. (For example, I other look for lens shift, which is the best way to correct out keystoning effects.) The best resource for comparing, including user reviews, can be found at

Be sure to read everything contained by their Buyer's Guide, it's great.

There should be no distortion regardless of how large you project (lens shift should remove adjectives distortion), although the larger you go (a) the farther away you will enjoy to sit to see the picture normally; and (b) the more feathery (lumens) you will need from the projector itself. Manufacturers usually specify the largest size eyeshade that would be acceptable base on their lumen output.
In my theater i have an Epson powerlite cinema pro projector.
its 4 august, 1080p, and the picture is great.

I guarentee that if you have a 165" blind the picture will look like crap, impose its so big, its distorted.
recomended is 92" but i have 110"

I also own Klipsch speakers, which are used in partially over the movie theaters in america, and they ROCK.
7.1 surround nouns with 2 12" subwoofers

I also enjoy the very unusual integra 7.8 reciever, which is very glorious end at a pious price.
