Home theater system hook up?
component cable or hdmi cable, my dvd recorder and tv do have hdmi cable. my examine is, what is the best way to hook up this system up, to be the best video and audio element.. should I upgrade my receiver? please step by step, I'm unmarked to this thing. thank you..

I don't construe you should have to capture a new beneficiary. Just because your Pioneer doesn't have an HDMI input, doesn't stingy you're not going to get trait sound. From my elucidation, I believe HDMI is both digital video and audio via one cable, usually used between the DVD player and the TV--Instead of separate wires between your digital video/audio inputs and outputs.
Same goes for the Component cable, which again is usually used between the TV and the DVD player.
