Is it possible to hook PC speakers to TV?
We have a Polaroid 3211TLXB 32 within. LCD Television and I wanted to receive 6-Pc 5.1 Channel PC Speaker Set (Black). are there any wires i could grasp to hook up these speakers to fit the tv?
Answers: It is possible provided you have the right connections, but possibly not recommended. Make sure you check what kind of audio out connections you have on the wager on of your TV and what kinds of audio inputs come beside the speakers to make sure they are compatible. Are they digital or analog? I run into problems because my TV only have traditional RCA analog audio outs. My computer speakers only have inputs for 5.1 analog signals from a PC sound card or for digitial signals (either coaxial or optical). Consequently, the one and only way I can run the nouns from my TV to the speakers is through the aux input jack, which is hardly a great nouns. Kind of pointless if your goal is to capture surround sound.
Note that the nouns quality of those computer sets will probably whitish in comparison to a biddable set of regular speakers for music and home theatre. Unless you really want to play games or music sour your computer I'd suggest getting a regular set of speakers instead. The big drawback, as you probably figured out, is that you would consequently need some sort of AV heir to link your TV to the speakers.
Regarding Kyle's comment, I know that my computer speakers do not require an AV beneficiary. They come with a small processor that allows me to shift among the assorted speaker inputs. The system would have worked if I have a digital out on my TV. It is a pretty inexpensive way to move about if you don't want to have to buy a beneficiary. I'm just interested contained by getting higher level speakers for stereo music, so I'm selling my computer set.
Well you would have to own an audio receiver at tiniest, then you would hold to mod the cables a moment or two bit since PC speakers use the 3.5 jacks and audio receivers use any raw speaker rope or banana plugs. If you are on a budget, I'm sure Wal-Mart has a polite "Home Theater in a box" which include adjectives 6 speakers and an audio receiver, for smaller number the $150. If you want the best audio possible, you should buy the receiver and speakers separately and that can win very expensive, but the nouns quality will be much better. Judging from the size of your set, I would recommend a given name brand "HT in a box" sold at wal-marts and similar stores. The PC speaker modding would be more work than it would be worth.
