Can I replace my JVC center element DVD player beside a HD-A3 from Toshiba?

I own a JVC THC50 home theater system. I would like to know if I can replace the DVD player beside the HD-A3 from Thoshiba, or if the whole surround system is base on the JVC DVD player. I have tried to locate owners manual but they do not seem to provide me an answer. (I have tried to look at the a mixture of inputs on my device and on the Toshiba HD-A3 but can not draw a conclusion) Hope some one can help. Thanx

Answers:    I took a look at your system at the JVC website (as you can't count on the info from anywhere else).

Your section has a Digital Optical Input. So adjectives your have to do is setup the HD-DVD player to the TV and run a Optical cable from the Player to your system. Then using the remote from the JVC find the correct input for playback from your system.

Be sure to setup to HD-DVD player for Digital Bit-Stream (On) from the players setup menu.
