Usually this is a menu item below maintenance or admin or other (depends on projector).
The hour meter is (usually) a convenience so you know hwat proportion of the rate lamp enthusiasm you have used. It also allows comparison of ambition numbers with others re comparative hurricane lantern life.
You usually reset to zilch when you change the light.
