Using matured home the boards system (with outdated dvd player) through upscaling dvd?
Problem is, the speakers only connect to the rear legs of the OLD dvd player -- one of those home theatre systems contained by a box kind of concordat.
I have a alien Samsung full HD upscaling DVD player to go near my new Samsung LCD TV. Is near any way I can connect the unusual upscaling DVD player to the old DVD player to use the speakers it come with?
T.V. -- 2 HDMI ports, optical
OLD DVD PLAYER -- Digital out
NEW -- Hdmi, digital out, optical
Answers: If the simply port on the old player is digital out you are out of luck ... short of hack the wiring.
I suspect you will hold to find a replacement amp/receiver. You don't need unknown and you don't need HDMI connectivity (although it would be nice) -- individual a digital or optical input.
Consider a used or discontinued or open box model and you should know how to get something better than you in a minute have for beneath $200.
Sorry.
ya, you would need an audio input on the matured dvd player to run the audio from the new player, to the behind the times one, and out the speakers...
