Hi adjectives, Is a top level 1080p upgrade DVD player ie: Denon DVD1940 as devout as a Blueray Player at play subsidise?

Answers:    Nope. upconverting DVD players can only interpolate to include pixels to fit the resolution you set (720p, 1080p/i). You aren't actually calculation any new information by doing this, so the picture can singular be marginally better.

A BlueRay or HD-DVD player can output up to 1080p, and the source material in reality has 1080p content on it, unlike a standard DVD to be precise 480i.

The HD-DVD and BlueRay players will upconvert as well. I bought one of the $98 Toshiba HD-DVD players from WalMart this ultimate week and it does a good post of upscaling, but HD is gorgeous. I'd expect the same result on a BlueRay.
Not even close. It might look a bit better, in my honest evaluation most wont even see much difference from standard DVD.
