How do I connect my AV setup?

I have a Tivo, a DVD player, a Wii, a addressee and a TV. I would like to know which connections I should use. The Tivo is a series 2 single tuner, the DVD Player is an upconvert near HDMI & S-Video and the tv is a HDTV with HDMI, Component & Composite connections. The heir is older and does not hold HDMI but has 5.1 & digital coax, S-Video and Composite.

Answers:    connect dvd player directly to yout tv via hdmi for video and an optical cable to heir.

connect wii directly to your tv using component cables.

connect your tivo to tv via S-video and using digital coax to the addressee.
Since HDMI is the best possible current connection available, connect any equipment that can use HDMI through that. The subsequent best connection would be Component Video and Digital Coaxial, so connect your anything lacking HDMI with that. S-Video is the subsequent best, and composite is the worst of them all.
