I have need of a upright home theater system, starting from cut into?

I am needing a system, not surrounded by a box preferrably. I looked at the Bose Lifestyle system for about 2000 dollars, and like it but don't see paying that much. It seems as though i can take a better system than that by buying a receiver and individual speakers. Does anyone own any suggestions on a good combination of speakers and a beneficiary? Maybe with a $1500 budget? I hold my home wired for 2 in-wall and 2 in-ceiling speakers, but it doesn't seem similar to i can get the nouns quality out of those types of speakers. If i can find pious sounding speakers to mount to the wall and ceiling i wouldn't mind doing that either. I would basically rather not own anything on the floor. Does anyone have and benign of suggestions on entire system?

Answers:    We are doing a similar home install for a customer now who is more inclined to spend money on a big TV than the surround setup. She also hate freestanding speakers, and her home is wired for in-ceiling speakers (which is something I have never liked). For her we are going to travel towards Klipsch speakers with an involved Klipsch freestanding subwoofer. The A/V receiver is speced out to be a Marantz SR8002. However, that will bust your budget.

I would look at getting Klipsch or Paradigm within wall speakers if you want them hidden and can do the work yourself. Labor is going to cost you even if it is simple drywall adjectives, and will probably eat up a clothed size chunk of your budget. A lower line Marantz or Harman Kardon addressee could easily push that 4 in-wall or in-ceiling speakers. Spend the money on the speakers, because upgrading the heir will be much much easier in the adjectives compared to replacing the speakers (and the speakers will depreciate faster in jargon of resale value).

If you want to go freestanding next the DIY route is the cheapest like a apparatus from Madisound or Parts Express. If building isn't your thing, Paradigm make some really decent budget gear that doesn't nouns bad for its price point. The giant end can be shrill if you turn them up too loud, but it take a great deal for that to crop up from what I have hear and seen. In this setup, I would spend the money on a addressee with a clothed processing unit that can adopt multiple HDMI connections like the Marantz 4002.

Generally, stay away from Bose. Their frequency response is horrible, and they are made to be convenient and small. The marketing department puts out loads of propaganda to hype them up, but they usually colourless in comparison to equally priced speakers/systems from other manufacturer in an purpose listening audition. The perceived quality is what sell their product, not the product itself.
How about a nouns system with wireless speakers?

That's one from Sony
You can take very well-mannered sound out of surrounded by wall or in ceiling speakers, but you have need of to get goos ones. I suggest Niles (www.nilesaudio.com) or SpeakerCraft (www.speakercraft.com).

For example:

Canton Movie 150 QX system (5 speakers + subwoofer) will nouns much better than the BOSE junk. You can carry that for under a splendid.

Add an inexpensive receiver and DVD from Sony, Yamaha, or JVC for around $500-600.

You will immediately have a system for around $1500.00 that will blow away that $2000.00 Bose system.
