I just bought my ps3 and I used it on my glorious def tv using the standard AV cables. Then I brought it over to my neighbors house who have the HDMI cable and it was working great on both tvs, later when I brought it back to my productive tv with the standard AV cable I plugged everything in and it wont show up on the eyeshade. I called sony they be no help, any suggestions?
Answers: if when u use ur ps3 near the av cables that come with it does it show up next to a black screen? if so u requirement to go to ur neighbors house borrow their hdmi cord step to setting and then display settings and make over the output to av standard cables after go fund to ur house it should work now

isnt in that a switch in the posterior that says "HD and next HDTV" under it. try switching it to HDTV [high def t.v.]
