Is a 75 W subwoofer apt . I simply get a Genius SW-HF5.1 5005, 5.1 as a present?

If someone could give a bit of explinations too it would be great

Answers:    Is it 75 watts RMS or peak/max output? RMS is the continuous power output while peak/max wattage medium the sub/speaker has the aptitude to go that big but most likely will stay contained by its RMS wattage range.

150 watts beside a low frequency extension of 20 Hz or less is my minimum recomendation for a virtuous sub.

After checking the specs on their website I see that it only go down to 50Hz meaning that your sub will not reproduce the deeper bass sounds range from 20Hz-49Hz.....you will get wearing clothes bass but not amazing sounding bass.

Remember....it's the thought that counts :)

If you ever plan to upgrade to some better speakers, check out http://www.paradigm.com their speakers will blow you away.

I own Monitor 7's and Center/ADP Surrounds from the Monitor series as well and they are loud ample to fill up a big do hall.

Add an Onkyo or Yamaha a/v heir for your amplifier and you will have a system worth showing past its sell-by date to your friends.
