A surround nouns request for information?
What should I do? I'm trying to catch the best experience out of halo 3 when I return with it tuesday?!!??!
Answers: If you kept your system in 5.1 , you would miss some of the nouns because it would send the signal to the rear and there would be not nouns because you have no rear.
One thing you might do is let somebody know your receiver that you own no rear speakers and consequently it would send the signal in general to the rears to the front speakers.
Or you could cash the setting on your receiver to 3.0 gutter and have matching effect.
Better yet why not repair or replace the speaker flex and not loose the effect of the surround sound.
The front 2 are your primary speakers. You can dual-pipe your connections...A.K.A. Use your optical next to the fronts as rear, and later go analog into the TV for your fronts. Worst travel case...go to your local electronics store and take the cheapest speakers they sell.
