Can i extend my home theather speaker wires?

my speaker has 8 ohms impedance. am afraid if i extend it for a moment bit longer it could affect the speaker resistance or sound output?

please proposal.

thanks

Answers:    Go and buy suitable speaker wire. Do not splice or you will create further resistance. You should be okay....the results will be least.

No....for the time and cost of solder you can buy good talent speaker wire. I recommend no breaks for optimum feature.
nope i did it for mine and nothing happen
