Can I connect my DVD-VHS combo player to one input located at the rear my 46inch Sony HDTV?

Answers:    Most combo units enjoy composite or S video for the VCR and component video for the DVD. It is way better use separate inputs on the backbone of your TV for each device. Your DVDs will look better.

composite video is the ashen connector
S video (better than composite for VHS) is a 4 pin din connector
Component video is the red/green/blue connectors designated Y pB pR
