Brand foreign DVD player... menu/dvd picture not showing on TV. What am I doing wrong?? PART 2?
Ok, my TV doesn't have the video inputs on it so I'm using a converter box. I enjoy the converter box connected to the TV with a cable. Then I enjoy an antenna connected to the converter box. It works fine, so I was assuming the converter box works.
So afterwards I got my investigational dvd player and used the video input connector that came near it. I hooked it up from the back of the dvd player to converter box. Everything is plugged surrounded by and I've checked and double checked. I even poured over the directions, and I don't normally even have need of directions. I'm decent next to electronics...
What is wrong? Why won't the picture show on my tv? The dvd player is not inputting to the tv. Sigh. Please help!
P.S. I'll gleefully im with someone who can oblige me out on this one. On yahoo I'm queen_spader. Thanks.
Answers: The instructions tell you not to try to copy the signal (with a VCR) out of your player, because of Macrovision copy protection.
However, this should be no problem for you. You are without blemish OK to use an RF modulator to feed the TV next to a DVD player.
It might be something as simple as pushing the button on the remote that says TV/VCR.
