HDMI problem next to Blu-Ray?

I own a blu-ray DMP-BD10Ak by Panasonic. I connected HDMI cable to it and to my Tv. My Tv recognized the HDMI cable, but the blu-rau tossed up an error code maxim incompatible cable. I had to look up the code surrounded by the manual. The HDMI cable setting is turned on surrounded by the Blu-Ray settings. everything should work but Blu-Ray doesnt recognize the cable. Any suggestions?


Answers:    I hold the same element. It works fine plugged directly into the TV, but when I try to run it through my HDMI switch - it refuses to work. Their firmware for HDMI is a bit pickyl
It sounds approaching a "handshake" failure ... and may be address by a firmware update. Contact Panasonic support and ask if there is a specified issue .. and if so ask about a firmware update.
