I found out you want HDMI cable for and HDTV which I am going to buy. Do I hold to buy audio cable too?

Im buying an HDTV as a present. Since buying HD programing like COMCAST would be to expensive, I be going to buy a HD DVD player. I found out you need to buy HDMI cable, and while searching the website I be searching for the HDMI cable, it asked if I looked-for to bundle them with audio cable. Do I need to buy audio cable? I thought the HDMI cables would verbs audio too.

Answers:    HDMI carries both audio and video signals surrounded by the same cable.
If your TV supports HTMI connections, and you plan to use your TV's speakers one HDMI cable is adjectives you need. You don't want separate cables for audio; your HD DVD player and HDTV support HDMI.
Some unit may not transfer audio through the HDMI cable and have coaxial or Optical cable for the audio.
