How do i burn dvd's?

i can burn my films stored on my pc to dvd and they play impeccably on my pc but when i play them on my dvd player they don't work. the dvd player doesn't recognise the dvd. the dvd player does play home adjectives films, so it is something i am doing wrong. many thankfulness russell

Answers:    you need to check the compatability of your discs next to your player. Some will not play r- / r+ for example where as your workstation will play them...
Most dvd players commonly accept r- but mine wouldn't play r+, hope this explains for you!
we engender dvd's from clips of holdiay video's etc., on moviemaker then stockpile them onto dvd using nero -they always play on the dvd player and the playstation 2 for that business
