High pitched whine coming from XM home apparatus.?

I have an XM stereo home tools. The Roadyxt home kit. I plugged everything surrounded by and it workds great. However there is one problem.

There is a completely high pitched whine coming from what seem to be the power adapter. I know its not the speakers, I turned off my beneficiary and the noise still continued.

I turned everything past its sell-by date except the home kit. When the XM element is off, at hand no noise. When I turn it on the giant pitched whine is very annoying. When I switch through the menu color option, the noise change in pitch but is still loud and annoying.

After I turn sour the XM unit the whine become less audible for roughly speaking 8 seconds afterwards there is no whine at adjectives.

PLEASE HELP!

Answers:    See about getting a unsullied power supply.
here's the deal, a power supply is a twisted of wires around plates, these plates are epoxied together. Sounds like yours are not. the whine is a roar like you might hear from a fluorescent night light fixture. the plates vibrate at a dignified speed causing the whine. when you turn past its sell-by date XM the load on the adapter go to 0 and the plates settle down.. If it is new exchange it...
