A few weeks ago my DVD player suddenly started playing everything in black and white. I thought conceivably it was the TV because it's ancient and the DVD player is hooked up to it thru the VCR. But I tried it on another TV and it's still black and white. Everything is plugged in correctly and I didn't changeover any settings or anything. Can anyone help? Or is it time to find a new DVD player?
Answers: Just happen to me. I went crazy for 5 days figure it out. Then I just said Hum, perchance it's the wires/conectors those yellow and red little cables(audio/video) I guess you could phone up them that conects the DVD player to the TV. I exchange them with a couple I knew worked within my room and "Bam" it worked. I went to Radio Shack and bought a tentative pair for smaller amount than $10. Sometimes the video part of the cable breaks even if you can't see it from the outside. Hope that help.
