I want to purchase a flat screen TV for my husband for Christmas. I'm looking at a blind between 32" and 42". We have a surround system speakers already wired surrounded by our living room wall and on the ceiling. I want to get a TV that will work for our local cable and can be mounted to the wall. I don't know anything roughly speaking TV electronics though. I saw a few Samsung 32" for less than $1,000 that I would close to to get for him. Would this work for our local cable or would we have need of to get satellite or HDTV?
