Xbox 360 monster cable?

ok i got the monster cable 4 my xbox 360 it has the fiber optic cable i plugged every item into my tv(my tv has the optic cable output)i own a picture but no sound. how do i return with the sound?


Answers:    Your TV wishes an optical input, not an output.
And whoever spends money on name brand cable is retarded.
As tyler implied - you need to nurture the optical cable to a DD5.1 INPUT.

Most TV's do not have these. You involve a DD receiver.
Your fiber optic cable requirements be plugged into a home theater receiver or something beside a optical INPUT....output sends out the signal and input receives the signal. The optical output of your tv is intended to send out the audio signal if you own an HDMI cable plugged in and want to distribute the HDMI audio to your receiver.
