How can i connect my 3.5mm output from my coumputer into a home entertainment system?

I'm trying to figure out how I can hook my computer with an actual home entertainment speaker so i can hold surround sound on both my computer and my entertainment system.

Answers:    You need a 1/8" to RCA cable. You can achieve them almost anywhere. If you have optical on the computer and receiver, I may prefer to try it, to run down interference.
