What can i use to seperate handset cable strands and keep hold of them 100% dry?

i have a cell phone house wire that get cut in two that runs outside and i of late want to cover and seperate the ends so that there is no shorting or grounding keeping the hose down out,what can i buy that is made for this?


Answers:    do not use wirenuts they are not for landlines. nearby are ones that are for landlines. called 3M Scotchlok. you can buy a small pack at a hardware store.
Epoxy or silicone sealant, which you might hold on hand.
There are impermeable splice kits that you can buy, though.
