Why do I hear dialing when I'm discussion on the house phone?

When I'm talking on the house phone, every 25 second or so, I will hear dialing. The phone company says it's the wires surrounded by my house. I've tried each phone by itself (with the others unplugged), hoping it's a doomed to failure phone but I have alike problem with adjectives the phones (both corded phones and cordless phones). I plugged a phone into the outside box and did not hear the dialing. Does anyone have any model what can be causing this? Thanks.
